Android TV app blocker for habits before streaming
Your evening does not end at the edge of your phone. Habit Protector includes Android TV at launch, so supported TV apps can be part of the same personal screen-time plan.
Include the living-room screen
Choose the TV apps you want to protect and complete the setup on the television. With Pro, supported usage and rules can join a plan across up to five of your own devices. A TV takes one device slot.
Set up each device locally
Install the supported TV app, complete its permission and readiness checks, and select the TV apps locally. Signing in on a phone does not automatically grant permissions on your television. Check the Google Play listing for your device and country.
Complete a supported habit
Available habits differ by device. Use the habit picker and rule readiness checks rather than assuming phone sensors or health integrations exist on the TV. A habit verified locally grants local access; connected peers receive supported updates afterward.
Understand the boundary
This protects selected supported apps, not HDMI inputs, broadcast television or every smart-TV operating system. It is a personal habit tool, not remote parental management. Existing local rules can work offline; receiving a completion from another device requires connectivity.
Launch availability
Android TV is included in the launch plan. Check Google Play for the current release status and compatibility on your television. The demonstration is illustrative, not a recording of a running TV app.
